Alone- Written in the clink

Alone is what I am.

Alone is what I feel.

Although, I’m surrounded by many, I’m surrounded by none. How does one get past this feeling of a giant void? A black hole of darkness clouding my judgment. Brain fog to say the least.

Alone in the world.

Alone with my thoughts.

Alone with my triggers and emotions trying to escape it all and not feel a thing.

Alone in isolation, but wanting out.

Alone because it’s hard to trust now a days.

Clouded and alone in a haze. Staring at the walls in a daze, trying to figure out different ways… To not feel… ALONE.

Alone is how we were born. Alone is how we’ll die. Get used to it because life is lonely and many times you’re all you have. It’s okay to be alone, but it can be triggering to feel alone.

Two different concepts that the brain mixes up. It’s not a good feeling to feel alone knowing you’re surrounded by many. Here’s to figuring out how to navigate loneliness. Be alone if you need to, but remember you don’t need to feel alone if you can help it. Stay busy, stay happy, stay peaceful, stay alive, and DON’T stay ALONE.
